Here are past pics from over years of care.
Each has its story. The barn owls in a silo that EWC convinced the owner to leave even though he needed it for grain, Young Eagles whos tree was cut down and the land owner who lost everything over this stupid bit of greed, Clarance the juvinile Eagle released after combined care of NCSU, CRC, EWC with a terrible fracture of the leg. The pie-bald fawn, the duck we let play in the tub, The owl we put back in a tree, the kids we let release in hopes of getting future rehabbers. Gary Salt whom has helped EWC build its infrastructure year after year at a loss to his business. Our release boxes, flying squirrels boiling out to freedom and raccoons when they were legal to rehab, and Catfish our first Eagle whom lost his wing from a gunshot after everyone we new tried to save it, He now lives a great life as head honcho at Carolina Raptor center in Charlotte NC in there new avairy. Go see him!!
