Grey Squirrel? nope big ole, Fox Squirrel prior to release in spring of 2006. Normally black with white, like the one below.

Common visitor to us all in Eastern NC. it was Released in 2006 . Unable to suckle (the tit actually squirts milk in) They are hard to raise but advances in Rehabilitation have made it much easier.

Red Morph Eastern Screech Owl Released 2006 Normal colors are grey. Always confused as a baby Great Horned Owl we see both colors frequently.

Osprey The true raptor. The word raptor is a description of feet , with the 4th talon opossed. Thats why in Jurasic Park some dinosours are called raptors. This young bird does not have the color blue on its feet which comes with manhood. They are very vocal, picky eaters in rehab. and smell like goats. Most Always Identified as a Bald Eagle by the Public. We do several each year.

Several Clapper Rails went thru in 2006. Woodcocks, Snipes, Rails are common along the marshes. The large rocks give them places to hide behind in the cages. Shy, is what works in rehab for them.

Leigh brings in some of 2007 babies. Its always hard for rehabbers to say good bye but , boy the squirrels love the bigger release cages. This guy will never be talked to or touched again.
